New Project - Custom Fabrication

Overview

A New Project Metal Fabricator should have at least 3 years experience with a range of metalworking tools and methods, including MIG/TIG, laser, machining, and bending/forming. The role involves working on various projects such as interior architectural work, furniture, sculpture, and unique constructions.

Responsibilities

• Keep a very organized, efficient and safe metal shop.
• Review drawings and establish effective workflows for production.
• Review information with the fabrication team via project management software, whiteboard, and wall posters.
• Inspect tools and equipment for repairs and/or replacement.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with metalworking tools and methods.
• Experience in interior architectural work, furniture, sculpture, and unique constructions.
• Demonstrable experience in woodwork, plastics, motors, or mechanisms.
• Ability to lift and handle 60 lbs.
• Familiarity with other methods/materials based on past experience.

Additional Information

• Must be able to work during normal business hours Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM.
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule and have the ability to work overtime on short notice, including weekends as required.
