Overview

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading manufacturing company, is seeking to hire a motivated Welder to join their team. The Welder is responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and efficiency of the welding process in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas metal arc.
  • Operate cutting torches, grinders, and drills.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate's or Technical degree preferred.
  • Strong ability to multitask with attention to individual details.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in TIG, MIG, and spot welding.
  • Job task planning and organizing skills.
  • Working knowledge of hand and power tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability to constant changes in production.
  • Ability to read and understand English.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

What you'll be running
