Overview

The Metal Worker is responsible for processing metal orders using metal processing equipment while providing excellent customer service. The role requires strong multi-tasking skills and attention to detail as the worker interacts with trade professionals and do-it-yourselfers throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Cut customer orders to specifications using metal cutting equipment.
• Safely operate forklift to move material around the Warehouse.
• Receive, identify, and stock incoming materials as required.
• Occasionally deliver material to local locations in F-350 trucks.
• Assist in the proper maintenance of equipment ensuring safety.
• Ensure the Warehouse is clean, organized, and safe.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

• Excellent customer relationship skills.
• Ability to accurately use measuring instruments like tape measures and dial calipers.
• Physically able to frequently lift/move metal products weighing 50-100 lbs.
