Overview

Reworld, a leader in sustainable waste solutions for over 40 years, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to ensure the operational effectiveness of equipment and systems in their industrial disposal process.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventive maintenance tasks per maintenance schedule to prevent equipment breakdowns.
• Utilize root-cause analysis skills to investigate breakdowns and line stoppages.
• Prioritize work to ensure timely maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment.
• Utilize the maintenance documentation program to manage work orders and spare parts.
• Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production machinery.
• Observe and evaluate machinery operation to diagnose malfunctions.
• Review maintenance reports and statistics to plan maintenance activities.
• Inspect machines and equipment for conformance with operational and safety standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• A minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
