Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leader in fleet maintenance across the U.S., is hiring a skilled Trailer Technician/Mechanic to join their team in Keasbey, NJ. This position offers an opportunity to troubleshoot mechanical issues and keep fleet vehicles running reliably, with a focus on major body repairs and welding.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trailers.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.
• Accurately document repairs and complete work orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience performing diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Experience with major body repairs, including side panels, roof replacements, nose rails, and floor sections.
• Welding experience is required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to own and maintain personal tools and toolbox required for the role.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
• Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical if required.

• Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Weekly pay - every Friday
