Overview
The Maintenance Technician oversees, maintains, and repairs equipment and facility structures in a warehouse environment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots and repairs electric lift equipment and conveyor systems, addressing technical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Performs preventative maintenance and necessary modifications on electric lift equipment, conveyor systems, and buildings.
- Provides equipment status reports, detailing unusual maintenance problems.
- Follows all safety guidelines established by manufacturers, Home Depot, and government agencies, adhering to safety codes and OSHA standards.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment, performing daily cleanup of work areas.
Requirements
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Experience working on conveyor systems is preferred.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a trade school degree program or equivalent degree in a related field.

- This position reports to Area Supervisor.

- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
- Must continuously stand or walk and regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).
- Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes.
