Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment.
• Repair, rebuild, or replace engines and major components.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of diesel engines and various systems.
• Utilize strong computer skills for documentation and software.
• Convey repair details clearly in service notes.
• Participate in writing customer quotes and delivering excellent customer service.
• Mentor less experienced mechanics.
• Operate heavy equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair.
• Advanced diagnostic and repair experience with heavy equipment.
• Ability to repair and rebuild engines and major components.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft products and industry software.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
