Overview

We are seeking a Marine Hydraulic & Electrical Technician to perform system installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on tugboats, focusing on hydraulics and low-voltage marine electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Build, install, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems on tugboats.
• Work with low-voltage marine electrical systems primarily on components connected to hydraulic functions.
• Diagnose issues effectively and perform safe, accurate repairs.
• Read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documents.
• Use proper diagnostic and testing tools and adhere to safety standards.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in hydraulics, marine, mechanical, and/or industrial repair.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety, accuracy, and quality workmanship.
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel within a 3-hour radius.
