Overview

LEHR is the nation’s premier provider of mission-critical vehicle upfitting solutions, serving police, fire, utility, and other essential fleets. They are seeking a detail-oriented Emergency Vehicle Installation Technician to join their Edison team, offering opportunities for training and growth.

Responsibilities

• Remove factory-installed interior and exterior vehicle components
• Install emergency vehicle equipment, including light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions, and more
• Install cameras, computers, and license plate recognition systems
• Perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace
• Organize tools and inventory

Requirements

• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in/around vehicles
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience with 12V electrical systems (preferred)
• Ability to read schematics or wiring diagrams (preferred)

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• No weekends
