Overview
As a Power-Generation Equipment Repairer in the Army National Guard, you will be responsible for supplying power to support military operations by maintaining and repairing generation equipment. This role involves performing preventive maintenance checks and enhancing equipment efficiency through technical adjustments.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on tactical utility and precise power-generation sets.
- Maintain internal combustion engines and associated equipment.
- Replace voltage regulators, governors, or circuit cards as needed.
- Adjust frequencies and voltages using technical publications.
Requirements
- Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 35.
- Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
- Must meet citizenship requirements.
