Overview
At Parker Aerospace, we develop innovative solutions for the lifecycle of aircraft, including aftermarket support. As an Assembly & Test Operator, you will be responsible for assembling and testing components in a team environment, contributing to our mission of enabling engineering breakthroughs.
Responsibilities
- Hand deburr components.
- Ensure all equipment is calibrated according to the calibration schedule.
- Produce and inspect assemblies for conformance to specifications.
- Rework malfunctions disclosed by test data.
- Record test results on data forms.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, and quality directives.
- Observe all safety rules and maintain a FOD-free work area.
- May be required to run an automatic weld machine.
- Perform other related responsibilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of assembly/test or related experience or demonstrated ability to perform the described responsibilities.
- Must demonstrate manual dexterity.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
- Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics.
- Must demonstrate effective English verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
