Overview

Arconic is seeking a General Mechanic to join their Aluminum Extrusion (AEX) business unit in Chandler, AZ. The company focuses on creating breakthrough products through advanced manufacturing techniques to solve complex engineering challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate, install, repair, modify and maintain machines, equipment, structures and facilities.
• Be willing to work a fixed work schedule including evenings, nights, holidays, and overtime.

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a comprehensive online and hands-on skills test.
• Pass a physical examination, drug screen test and background check.
• Minimum of 5 years Journey person experience or equivalent maintaining heavy equipment.
• Working knowledge of welding, machine repair, millwright, hydraulics, sheet metal, pipe fitting, and blueprints.
