Overview

As a Water Services Worker I, you’ll play an essential role in maintaining the City’s water distribution system while learning valuable skills in construction, equipment operation, and workplace safety. Responsibilities

• Perform skilled work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of water lines in the distribution system.
• Maintain and repair sewer lines in the wastewater collection system.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• No experience required; preferred experience in water distribution, large sprinkler systems, general construction, or water meter experience.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license with no major citations within the past 39 months.
• Grade 1 operator certification from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality within one year of hire.
• Valid Class 'A' Commercial Driver License (CDL) with tanker endorsement within one year of hire.

Additional Information

• Must reside in the State of Arizona during active employment.
• Subject to call-backs, after-hours responses, on-call assignments, and potentially scheduled on holidays, weekends, and overtime.
