Overview

APEL Extrusions, Inc. is an independent extruder, finisher, and fabricator of aluminum extrusions, located in Phoenix, AZ. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing machinery to maximize production time.

Responsibilities

• Work on various projects involving fabrication, rebuilding parts, and inspecting machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Help other maintenance and operational personnel as needed.
• Operate a forklift and man lift.
• Plumb air, oil, grease and water lines.
• Troubleshoot hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work independently and as a team.
• Strictly follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Fabrication experience.
• Ability to safely work in confined spaces, at elevated heights, and around chemicals.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Preferred – Millwright Certification, Electrical experience.
• Preferred – CMMS familiarity.
