Overview

The Maintenance Technician II supports FedEx Industrial Maintenance for material handling, focusing on preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems. This role involves troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical problems within the material handling system.
• Adhere to safety standards and promote a safe work environment.
• Respond to sort calls to diagnose problems and make repairs.
• Utilize Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software to enter and retrieve data.
• Assist in smaller scope projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years experience in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics with competency in at least two specialty skills.
• Certificates in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics or related area preferred.
• Ability to follow procedures and solve basic mechanical or electrical problems.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.

Additional Information
