Overview

The Assembler position requires a commitment to results and maintaining a clean work area while working in a team environment. Candidates must be able to follow directions and communicate effectively when issues arise.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from leadman and supervisor.
• Demonstrate continuous improvement.
• Communicate immediately when an issue or question arises.

Requirements

• G.E.D. or Equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an aircraft assembler or in manufacturing or a similar industry.
• Experience in drilling close tolerance holes and installation of manufacturing hardware.
• Proficient in the use of power tools (pneumatic and electric, including drills, rivet guns, torquing wrenches, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Successfully complete approved Bombardier initial training program.
• Successfully pass an entrance assessment demonstrating basic technical skills.
