Overview

Harmon, Inc. is seeking a full-time Shop Worker to join their talented team and contribute to building city skylines. The role involves general labor in the shop, including glass handling, metal fabrication, and assembly, while adhering to safety and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor in the shop dealing with glass handling, metal fabrication, assembly, glazing, or packaging.
• Read shop drawings and blueprints.
• Operate machines and use manual and hand tools.
• Meet standard operating procedures and established daily productivity goals.
• Participate in 5S and apply continuous improvement principles.
• Drive a forklift if certified.
• Follow safety procedures and wear company-provided PPE.
• Engage in safety suggestion programs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Manufacturing and Curtain Wall industry experience highly preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Contribute to a safe and enjoyable work environment.
• Able to work collaboratively with a team.
• Must be able to walk, bend, twist, squat, and climb on an occasional basis.
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift between 30 and 60 pounds.

Additional Information

• 10 Hour Shift: Monday-Thursday
• Overtime available.
