Overview

Power Plus is a multi-industry leader in providing power solutions, working with Fortune 100 companies. The Shop Worker position involves maintaining the shop and yard, building and repairing equipment, and ensuring a well-stocked warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Assist mechanics as needed.
• Build and repair electrical equipment including wire meters, distribution panels, tac-ons, and distribution cages.
• Clean and maintain shop and yard on a daily basis.
• Paint & cut poles, and stack poles with forklift.
• Maintain inventory as needed.
• Adhere to OSHA safety rules and use of equipment.
• Adhere to Power Plus safety and quality standards when setting and/or picking up equipment.

Requirements

• Mechanically inclined with ability to build and repair electrical equipment.
• Able to use all power and hand tools safely.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 80 lbs.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• An ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong team player.
• Forklift certification a plus.
