Overview
Maverick Power is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to support the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment in a high-energy, solutions-driven environment. The company is committed to innovation and quality, and is rapidly expanding in the DFW area.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on programmable copper-processing machines.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues; implement timely repairs.
- Calibrate, test, and validate equipment to ensure it meets operational specifications.
- Maintain and troubleshoot basic plant equipment including conveyors, motors, pumps, and tooling systems.
- Work closely with production teams to monitor machine performance and support safe, efficient operation.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production interruptions.
- Assist in machine setup, adjustments, and optimization as required.
- Schedule necessary 3rd party vendors for work when required.
- Act as the primary point of contact for equipment and facility vendors when on-site.
- Complete maintenance logs, repair documentation, and parts usage reports accurately.
- Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tag-out procedures, and company policies.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support plant-wide reliability programs.
- Support upkeep of plant infrastructure and utilities as needed.
- Perform routine inspections to identify wear, potential failures, and improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
- Knowledge of programmable or CNC-style machines (preferably metal or copper forming/processing equipment).
- Basic electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and equipment diagrams.
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to best practices.

Additional Information
- Onsite position with travel up to 10%.
- Duties performed in a loud production setting subject to extreme temperatures.
