Overview

Sika is a global leader in innovation and sustainability in the development and production of systems and products for various industries, including construction and transportation. They are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their Duluth Building Finishing team, responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the 'Sika SAFE' program
• Execute work orders and preventive maintenance tasks; troubleshoot as needed
• Maintain and troubleshoot mixers, piping systems, valves, pumps, instrumentation, and controls
• Maintain and troubleshoot packaging equipment including conveyors, fillers, palletizers, robotics, and material handling
• Maintain facilities and other equipment including fork trucks, dock equipment, HVAC, overhead doors, and plumbing
• Utilize skills in mechanical, pipe fitting, basic electrical, and welding or minor fabrication

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing experience
• Proficient in at least two of the following trades: electrical, mechanical, pipe fitting, mill-right, welding, or machining
• Must be flexible and willing to work some overtime and be on-call for occasional weekends as scheduled
• Must be self-directed, have good communication skills, and be able to work alone
