Overview

As a Service Technician II, you will perform a variety of high-level activities related to truck body and trailers, including diagnosing and repairing electrical and hydraulic issues, disassembling and reassembling truck bodies, and completing upfit jobs. The role requires advanced mechanical skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Complete non-standard upfit jobs and service repair work requiring problem solving and troubleshooting.
• Perform chassis prep, body mount, repair, 12v electrical work, liftgate installation, and quality inspection activities.
• Follow Wabash Nationals WPO guidelines and attain necessary certifications.
• Work in a team environment and read work orders to ensure correct components are used.
• Install liftgates of all makes and models.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Advanced mechanical and 12v electrical skills with welding experience.
• Experience in truck body or equipment manufacturing repair.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with minimal supervision.
• Capability to work off scaffolding up to twelve feet.
• Must have a current driver’s license.
