Overview

The Mechanic Associate role in Stone Mountain, GA involves servicing and repairing vehicles to ensure they are clean and mechanically sound. The position is full-time with hourly rates starting at $30.00+ depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist mechanics as needed
• Perform small repairs and installs with AMR supplied tools
• Conduct vehicle switches for maintenance and repair
• Clean ambulances and other field vehicles inside and outside
• Organize and clean the Fleet shop
• Check and top off vehicle fluids prior to rig swaps
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Inform Supervisor and Fleet Maintenance of breakdowns and equipment failures
• Document condition of ambulances and schedule preparedness for shift personnel
• Update crew in service information on computer for equipment tracking
• Respond to daily phone inquiries from crews
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner according to company policy
• Arrive for duty appropriately groomed and in proper uniform
• Complete all required company training
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Some experience in the industry preferred
• Some mechanical experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work under time constraints
• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Valid State Driver's license
