Overview

Forms+Surfaces is a leading designer and manufacturer of architectural and site products used in high-profile commercial and public projects around the world. As a TIG Welder, you will be part of our growing Pittsburgh manufacturing team, where your performance can lead to career progress incentives.

Responsibilities

• Create quality welds according to blueprints.
• Inspect welds for accuracy.
• Prepare product to be welded by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting steel/aluminum parts.
• Change wire/welding and gas tanks as needed.
• Ensure all equipment is properly set up and used safely.
• Perform first article inspections as well as subsequent inspections.
• Record proper and accurate entry into the time and attendance system.
• Be flexible within all areas of production within the facility.
• Carry out other job-related duties as necessary.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience or training in TIG Welding.
• Must pass the TIG welding test.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings & job orders.
• Ability to operate measuring devices such as calipers and tape measures.
• Basic computer navigation and data entry skills.
• Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Additional Information

• Shift options include Sunday - Wednesday (3pm - 1:30am), Wednesday - Saturday (3pm - 1:30am), and Sunday - Thursday (11pm - 7:30am).
• Location: Glenshaw, PA - Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work.
