Overview

Join the Skeeter team as a Metal Fabricator and help build steel trailers. This position is essential for maintaining the production of high-quality steel boat trailers.

Responsibilities

• Construct and fabricate steel boat trailers.
• Ensure parts are correct to build product.
• Build jigs and fixtures of all sizes and shapes required in production operation.
• Build all steel trailers per engineering Blue Prints and Drawings.
• Assist R&D with welding and fabricating tasks.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Perform any other duties assigned.

Requirements

• Welding Certification required.
• Be able to operate metal working equipment.
• Experience with Mig Welder, Stick Welder, Cutting Torch, Metal Cutting Saws, Bending and Fabricating Equipment, Plasma Cutter, and Electric Hoists.
• Ability to fabricate jigs, trailers, and small parts for trailers.
• Read tape measure and level.
• Work flexible hours if needed.
• Lift 75+/- lbs.
• Work in heat.
• Possess manual dexterity.
• Demonstrate good quality habits and good attendance habits.
• Follow instructions accurately.
• Complete work in a timely manner.
