Overview

Eaton’s IS AER FED division is seeking an Inspector for the 1st Shift in Glenolden, PA. The role involves performing verification inspections of suppliers' components and Eaton's products to ensure compliance with customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and use precision measurement equipment.
• Utilize knowledge of measurement systems and techniques including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Familiarize with the requirements of ISO9001 and AS9100.
• Interact with co-workers and customer representatives.
• Perform verification inspection of Eaton's suppliers' detailed components.
• Conduct verification inspection of Eaton's products for compliance with customer requirements.
• Assist customer source inspectors as required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years experience in manufacturing and/or military environment.
• Minimum of two years experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Experience using precision measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, comparator, thread gauge, etc.
• Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR.
• This position requires passing a pre-employment drug test and ongoing random testing.

Additional Information

• Core hours are 7 am - 3:30 pm, M-F.
• The hourly rate for this position is $24 per hour.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position.
• Candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered.
