Responsibilities

• Use locating equipment to determine the location of gas lines and mark the area with paint and flags.
• Develop knowledge and understanding of underground utility infrastructure.
• Follow all company, client, state, and federal damage prevention guidelines.
• Locate other utilities in addition to gas lines as assigned.
• Work independently in the field using a company-provided vehicle.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Able to lift heavy items up to 75 lbs.
• Proficiency with technology and able to read locate tickets and maps.
• Customer service experience is a plus.

Additional Information

• Daytime, full-time positions with a 48-hour turnaround time on many locates.
