Overview

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks.
  • Install, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Assist with fitting and alignment work as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Use hand and power tools safely in accordance with company procedures.
  • Operate equipment safely in compliance with OSHA/MSHA regulations.
  • Work closely with team members on industrial maintenance projects.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Ensure work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe.
  • Work in various industrial settings, occasionally at heights or in confined spaces.

Requirements

  • Strong welding skills (e.g., MIG, TIG, stick) and experience with fabrication, cutting, and metal repair.
  • Millwright experience, including installing, aligning, and maintaining industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
  • Knowledge of industrial safety practices and compliance with OSHA and MSHA regulations.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and relevant equipment used in industrial maintenance and repair.
  • Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Previous experience in industrial maintenance, construction, or related fields.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., welding certifications, safety training) are a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the Pell City, AL worksite.

Additional Information

  • This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pell City, AL.
  • The role may require overtime or weekend work depending on project needs.
