Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-orientated Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have fabrication and fitting experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with a strong ability to interpret drawings and perform precision fit-ups to high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret drawings and execute layout and burn operations.
  • Perform precision fit-ups to high-quality standards.
  • Qualify in the Flux Core process of 2/3/4G and 5F positions.
  • Qualify in 2/3G GTAW and GMAW positions.

Requirements

  • Preferred 3 years of welding/fitting experience in a similar industry.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading related to welding joints and symbols.
  • Ability to use a fillet gauge.
  • Understand material grades including pipe, plate, bar, fittings, and P-No.
  • Knowledge of interpass, temp, and heat input.
  • Understand and adhere to Weld Procedures (EMITP).

Additional Information

  • 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 3:00pm to 1:30am with voluntary overtime Friday-Sunday.
  • Compensation: $33.50-$39.25 hourly rate, plus $2 shift differential for 2nd Shift, DOE.
