Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Operator, specializing in the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery and equipment. The primary focus of a Maintenance Operator is to ensure that machinery operates efficiently and safely within various industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install new machinery and equipment according to blueprints, technical manuals, and engineering specifications.
• Align and level machinery using precision tools to ensure proper operation.
• Assist in setting up machine shop.
• Assist with tool trailer upgrade.
• Assist with setting up welding area / welding table.
• Conduct regular maintenance on industrial machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, such as faulty bearings, gears, and other components.
• Ability to interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to carry out installations and repairs accurately.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Implement safety measures during installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure successful project completion.
• Provide input on equipment upgrades and modifications based on hands-on experience.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Create reports detailing work performed, parts used, and any recommendations for future improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Operator in an industrial setting.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with a variety of tools and equipment used in millwrighting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or apprenticeship in millwrighting is preferred.
