Job Description
Overview
Allegion is a global leader in security solutions, recognized for its exceptional workplace culture. The Spot Weld Operator will operate and maintain welding equipment in a production environment at Krieger Specialty Products, a manufacturer of specialized doors and windows since 1936.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a spot-welding machine or station.
- Independently run equipment and perform basic setups.
- Ensure quality and interpret production paperwork.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years' relevant manufacturing/welding station experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency reading and applying production paperwork.
- Ability to perform easy setups and routine machine adjustments.
- Basic inspection and measuring skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Must be 18+ and able to work assigned shifts and overtime.
Additional Information
- Classification: Non-Exempt
- Reports to: Production Superintendent
- Shift: 1st: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Work environment is usually loud with PPE required.
- Fast-paced, team environment focused on quality and safety.
