At Relativity Space, we’re building rockets to serve today’s needs and tomorrow’s breakthroughs. The Mechanisms Technician II will collaborate with engineering teams to build the Terran R mechanism assemblies, contributing to the development of innovative aerospace technology.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams on building the 1st Terran R mechanism assemblies
- Follow precise work instructions to successfully complete build operations
- Assemble and test complex electro-mechanical assemblies using a variety of hand tools and test equipment
- Work closely with a team of technicians to successfully execute daily operations
Requirements
- 2+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related field
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced environments with flight hardware
- Proficient in using calibrated tools such as torque wrenches and precision inspection equipment
- Experience in the building and testing of electro-mechanical systems
- Experience in wiring, harnessing, and avionics
- Proficiency of relevant aerospace industry standards and specifications

- This is a 1st shift position with a standard schedule of 5:00AM-3:30PM PT, Monday through Friday
- Position is structured around a baseline expectation of a 50-hour workweek, which may include occasional overtime as needed
