Overview

At Parker Hannifin's Bioscience & Water Filtration Division, the Assembler II - Electrical role involves assembling and testing parts within the marine product line, contributing to advanced water purification solutions. The company is a leader in providing reliable clean water solutions using reverse osmosis technology across various sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate pre-built control panels into equipment skids with multiple electrical enclosures.
  • Wire low voltage and higher voltage circuits as per specifications.
  • Install and wire components on stainless steel frames/enclosures.
  • Assist with the installation of mechanical components of skid as needed.
  • Perform quality checks, hipot tests, and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Follow work instructions to initialize PLC, HMI, and servo drives.
  • Conduct electrical schematic walkdowns with customers during Factory Acceptance Testing.
  • Assist with final troubleshooting and electrical changes during Factory Acceptance Testing.
  • Perform quality checks of UL 508A control panels from outside vendors.
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable quality industry standards and safety procedures.
  • Occasionally troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.
  • Add new electrical drops and run network cables for facilities as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • 2+ years’ experience in wiring PLC-automated equipment skids.
  • College or Technical Degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of electrical theory and components, including PLCs and relays.
  • Knowledge of UL 508A, NEC, NFPA 70E standards required.
  • Ability to use Windows PC for PLC and HMI software installation.
  • Proficient in using electrical hand tools and related power tools.
  • Ability to solder multi-conductor cables to DB9 connectors.
