Overview
At Parker Hannifin's Bioscience & Water Filtration Division, the Assembler II - Electrical role involves assembling and testing parts within the marine product line, contributing to advanced water purification solutions. The company is a leader in providing reliable clean water solutions using reverse osmosis technology across various sectors.
Responsibilities
- Integrate pre-built control panels into equipment skids with multiple electrical enclosures.
- Wire low voltage and higher voltage circuits as per specifications.
- Install and wire components on stainless steel frames/enclosures.
- Assist with the installation of mechanical components of skid as needed.
- Perform quality checks, hipot tests, and troubleshoot equipment.
- Follow work instructions to initialize PLC, HMI, and servo drives.
- Conduct electrical schematic walkdowns with customers during Factory Acceptance Testing.
- Assist with final troubleshooting and electrical changes during Factory Acceptance Testing.
- Perform quality checks of UL 508A control panels from outside vendors.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable quality industry standards and safety procedures.
- Occasionally troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.
- Add new electrical drops and run network cables for facilities as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- 2+ years’ experience in wiring PLC-automated equipment skids.
- College or Technical Degree preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical theory and components, including PLCs and relays.
- Knowledge of UL 508A, NEC, NFPA 70E standards required.
- Ability to use Windows PC for PLC and HMI software installation.
- Proficient in using electrical hand tools and related power tools.
- Ability to solder multi-conductor cables to DB9 connectors.
