Overview

LISI AEROSPACE specializes in the design and manufacture of high-tech metal components to enhance aircraft safety and performance. The Headerman III role focuses on maximizing efficiency in the operation of header machines for bolt manufacturing while adhering to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, operate and maintain 2 or more header machines according to blueprints and specifications.
• Select and obtain proper materials and tooling for manufacturing jobs.
• Check tooling and perform rework as needed to meet specifications.
• Manufacture various types of fasteners while maintaining correct dimensions using measuring instruments.
• Maintain productivity on machines according to daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
• Assist and train less qualified machine operators as needed.
• Recognize and adjust for improper machine functioning.
• Identify and troubleshoot heading operations for improved quality.
• Represent Pins manufacturing on cross-functional teams or committees.
• Conduct or assist with peer development training as required.
• Perform Statistical Process Control (SPC) checks and use Master cam software.
• Adhere to all company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Working experience in a fastener manufacturing environment.
• Advanced knowledge of heading machinery and procedures.
• Working knowledge of quality and SPC.
• A minimum of 6 years of technical education and experience.
