Overview

In this role at Honeywell, you will provide technical support and expertise to impact manufacturing equipment and building systems at the South Bend, IN location. Your attention to detail will ensure that piping systems operate effectively, contributing to the success of the business.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and fabricate mechanical piping systems.
• Install and repair hangers and brackets for pipeline installation.
• Create holes in walls, floors, roofs, and panels for pipefitting components.
• Locate and repair leaks in pipeline systems.
• Maintain vacuum furnace systems and components.
• Maintain compressed air systems and components.
• Maintain hot water and steam systems and components.
• Maintain city water and sprinkler piping and components.
• Maintain and repair hydraulic systems.
• Perform Predictive Maintenance Inspections.
• Perform basic equipment servicing.

Requirements

• At least six years of experience in pipefitting or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of piping systems, installation techniques, and maintenance practices.
• Proficiency in using pipefitting tools and equipment, including welding and soldering tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with safety regulations and compliance in industrial environments.
