Quickset Defense Technologies, LLC is the US industry leader in heavy duty Tripods, Pan-Tilt positioners, and Camera Systems since 1933. The ATP Technician role involves testing and adjusting finished goods products in a production facility, requiring mechanical and electrical skills.

Responsibilities

• Test and adjust finished goods products including backlash.
• Read and follow schematics, assembly drawings, and specification documents.
• Utilize Solidworks software to perform test procedures.
• Understand serial communication protocols and basic PC networking.
• Troubleshoot wiring inconsistencies to avoid production delays.
• Demonstrate electrical and mechanical aptitude.
• Measure and record mechanical and electrical measurements.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

• 2+ years of mechanical experience with gears and related components.
• Knowledge of serial communication protocols (RS-232, RS-422, RS-485).
• Basic understanding of SBC boards, microcontrollers, and firmware updates.
• Mastery of hand tools.
• Good communication skills.

Additional Information

• Full-time work schedule from 5:30am to 2:00pm.
• Overtime may occasionally be required.
