Overview
Quickset Defense Technologies, LLC is the US industry leader in heavy duty Tripods, Pan-Tilt positioners, and Camera Systems since 1933. The ATP Technician role involves testing and adjusting finished goods products in a production facility, requiring mechanical and electrical skills.
Responsibilities
- Test and adjust finished goods products including backlash.
- Read and follow schematics, assembly drawings, and specification documents.
- Utilize Solidworks software to perform test procedures.
- Understand serial communication protocols and basic PC networking.
- Troubleshoot wiring inconsistencies to avoid production delays.
- Demonstrate electrical and mechanical aptitude.
- Measure and record mechanical and electrical measurements.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
Requirements
- 2+ years of mechanical experience with gears and related components.
- Knowledge of serial communication protocols (RS-232, RS-422, RS-485).
- Basic understanding of SBC boards, microcontrollers, and firmware updates.
- Mastery of hand tools.
- Good communication skills.

Additional Information
- Full-time work schedule from 5:30am to 2:00pm.
- Overtime may occasionally be required.
