Overview

As a Field Service Representative at Stiles Machinery, you will utilize your technical, electrical, and mechanical skills to install, troubleshoot, and support advanced machinery and software in real-world environments. Stiles has over 60 years of experience helping manufacturers across North America increase efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Install, start up, and instruct customers on technology represented by Stiles.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues in the field.
  • Document work performed, problems encountered, and customer concerns clearly and promptly.
  • Recommend improvements pertaining to reliability, performance, and long-term operation.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers and serve as a technical partner and problem solver.
  • Assist in training customers and Stiles service representatives on proper equipment use and maintenance.
  • Maintain showroom equipment and assist with customer demos as needed.
  • Continuously develop your skills and knowledge of the technology while working alongside vendor technicians and experienced Stiles team members.
  • Travel regionally averaging four days per week, with overtime and mileage reimbursement.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel regularly.
  • A flexible schedule and a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism.
  • Two years of technical schooling in electronics or a related field, equivalent hands-on experience, a related associate’s degree, or a willingness to learn.
  • Prior experience in CNC, PC-based controls, machine service, maintenance, or operation or completion of a Field Service training program.

  • Regional travel averaging four days per week.
