Overview

Responsibilities
- Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and upholds the CMC Safety Culture.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools.
- Use SAP maintenance module in the execution of duties and utilize computers for documentation.
- Demonstrates dependability in attendance and flexibility to meet business needs.
- Determine grades and sizes of bolts, pipes, tubing, cables, and wires.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
- Monitor and inspect equipment for defects and remove defective parts safely.
- Possess knowledge of bearings, power transmission equipment, hydraulics, and welding principles.
- Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by analyzing and summarizing information.
- Lead and document assigned maintenance projects, including work with peers and contractors.
- Participate in department start-up and shut-down activities.
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise and execute work orders using SAP.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work at heights in extreme temperatures.
- Experience with welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment maintenance preferred.
- Ability to read hydraulic schematics and troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
- Advanced experience with pumps, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, and rigging calculations.
- Positive attitude with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
