Overview

The Bridal Fitter/Pinner role is crucial for providing excellent client experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of alterations at TIW. Responsibilities include pinning garments, scheduling appointments, and maintaining high presentation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Energetically approach and engage with clients.
  • Support escalated clients by finding solutions.
  • Review and verify all documents and contracts for accuracy.
  • Document fittings with photos and written communications.
  • Plan and organize appointments and project queues for team efficiency.
  • Assist in time management of projects to ensure timely completion.
  • Make recommendations for future staffing needs.
  • Provide scheduling recommendations to the General Manager.
  • Mentor the team to consistently demonstrate high service levels.
  • Communicate with Alterations Specialists to ensure accurate alterations.
  • Schedule future alteration appointments using the TIW scheduling formula.
  • Perform level 3 alterations skillset.
  • Press, steam, and spot-clean garments.
  • Inspect garments using the White glove guide before final delivery.

Requirements

  • 3 years of tailoring experience (preferred).
  • 5 years of time management experience (preferred).
  • 5 years of quality control experience (preferred).
  • Ability to relate to a range of people.
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Planning and organization skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Basic understanding of frequently used software.
  • Sound judgment with prioritization and decision-making skills.
  • Resourceful and capable of resolving complex problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to delegate work and ensure accountability.
  • Ability to provide effective feedback to improve processes.
