Overview

Urban Infraconstruction is a leading heavy civil contractor specializing in water, wastewater, underground utilities, and infrastructure construction. We are seeking an experienced Lead Pipefitter to lead field crews on water and wastewater infrastructure projects, supervising daily pipe installation activities to ensure safety and adherence to project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure crews have the necessary equipment, materials, and information.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, piping isometrics, P&IDs, and project specifications.
• Install and oversee installation of mechanical piping systems, process piping, and various types of piping materials.
• Verify pipe alignment, elevations, and grades.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety policies.
• Monitor crew productivity and maintain daily production goals.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience installing mechanical piping systems, preferably on water/wastewater treatment plants, industrial facilities, or heavy civil projects.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Foreman or Leadman.
• Experience installing and coordinating process piping, mechanical piping, and above-ground piping systems.
• Experience with pumps, valves, and mechanical equipment.
• Valid Driver License.
