Overview
The Electro-Mechanical Technician role involves producing and ensuring the proper functioning of electro-mechanical systems and components for unmanned aircraft systems. This position requires technical expertise in assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining complex systems while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and test gimballed camera systems in production environments.
- Troubleshoot and repair non-functional gimbals, Printed Circuit Boards, and other assemblies.
- Complete system transactions in ERP and shop floor systems.
- Maintain detailed records of assembly processes and testing results.
- Inspect products and components for defects using inspection tools.
- Conduct product tests and document results for analysis.
- Collect and maintain data related to quality metrics and defects.
- Perform routine maintenance on testing equipment and tools.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers for feedback on improvements.
