Overview

Texas Instruments is seeking a skilled Equipment Technician for the Plasma module within RFAB. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, repairs, improvements, upgrades, and installations of equipment while collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Improve system performance to meet process requirements and reduce repetitive downs.
  • Monitor and analyze data to enhance tool performance and resolve tool-related issues.
  • Coordinate supplier service and repairs as necessary.
  • Prepare technical reports and summarize findings, recommending solutions to technical problems.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 2 years of semiconductor experience as a Technician or 8 years of non-semiconductor/military Technician experience.
  • Ability to work a 12-hour compressed work schedule.
  • Flexibility to work day or night shifts, including one weekend shift and holidays.
  • Proficiency with vacuum systems and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with RF systems and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of gas delivery systems and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret toolset schematics.
  • Mechanical proficiency and ability to follow 5S principles.
  • Ability to lift and move materials, equipment, and components weighing up to 50lbs.
  • Strong organizational, teamwork, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strong time management skills for on-time project delivery.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, interrupt-driven environment.
  • Experience with 300mm semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
