Overview
Texas Instruments is seeking a skilled Equipment Technician for the Plasma module within RFAB. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, repairs, improvements, upgrades, and installations of equipment while collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams.
Responsibilities
- Improve system performance to meet process requirements and reduce repetitive downs.
- Monitor and analyze data to enhance tool performance and resolve tool-related issues.
- Coordinate supplier service and repairs as necessary.
- Prepare technical reports and summarize findings, recommending solutions to technical problems.
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- 2 years of semiconductor experience as a Technician or 8 years of non-semiconductor/military Technician experience.
- Ability to work a 12-hour compressed work schedule.
- Flexibility to work day or night shifts, including one weekend shift and holidays.
- Proficiency with vacuum systems and troubleshooting.
- Experience with RF systems and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of gas delivery systems and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret toolset schematics.
- Mechanical proficiency and ability to follow 5S principles.
- Ability to lift and move materials, equipment, and components weighing up to 50lbs.
- Strong organizational, teamwork, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
