Sanmina Corporation is a leading integrated manufacturing solutions provider in the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) market. The Mechanical Assembler role involves assembling Electro-Mechanical Assemblies and inspecting complex electrical/electronic subassemblies.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work instructions, diagrams, and engineering drawings.
• Assemble components by mechanically fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools and power tools.
• Work with various sized materials from heavy parts to small intricate parts.
• Identify product defects and report to appropriate personnel.
• Keep accurate records and logs.
• Handle ESD sensitive materials and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 - 2 years experience, training is provided.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, and pneumatic tools.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Basic computer skills including email and work instructions.
• Attention to detail.
• Good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
