Overview

We are looking for a hardworking dedicated person to come in at an expert level possessing skills in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical technician work for a permanent full-time position in coil production. The technician will be responsible for maintaining machinery used to apply paint coating to aluminum and ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with other seasoned technicians and Plant Mechanic.
• Learn the various operating components of the coil coating line machinery.
• Learn to perform specific Preventative Maintenance actions.
• Learn how to address breakdowns and what solutions are available to get the machinery up and running in a safe and timely manner.
• Assist with all maintenance on machinery.
• Provide support to other employees in the area to operate in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety rules.
• Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and climb.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds individually and team lift 100 pounds throughout a workday.
• Willingness to operate a forklift and pallet jack after training.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Handle petty cash as needed.
• Any forklift experience a plus.

Additional Information

• Permanent Full Time Position (40 hours)
• Shift: 6pm-6am M-W and 6pm-10pm on Thursdays. OT is likely.
• Work Location: In person.
