Sanmina Corporation is a leading integrated manufacturing solutions provider in the global Electronics Manufacturing Services market. The Mechanical Repair Assembler role involves assembling and inspecting electro-mechanical assemblies according to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read, comprehend, interpret and follow basic work instructions, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions.
• Follow established procedures to accurately assemble products.
• Assemble components by mechanically fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Perform mechanical type assembly using hand tools and power tools.
• Work with various sized materials from heavy parts to small intricate parts.
• Identify product defects and report to appropriate personnel.
• Keep accurate records and logs.
• Handle ESD sensitive materials and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0 – 1 years experience, training is provided.
• A strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, and battery and pneumatic operated tools.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and safely lift up to 20 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Basic computer skills including email and work instructions.
• Attention to detail.
• Good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
