Overview

The Maintenance Technician 3 position at Pratt & Whitney involves performing aircraft engine maintenance for various models of commercial aircraft engines. This role is part of RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, and focuses on quality service and safety in a night shift, onsite environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft engine maintenance on all models of Pratt & Whitney Commercial aircraft engines.
• Ensure quality of service and safety by meeting Environmental Health and Safety requirements and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the team to improve aircraft engine maintenance turnaround and response times.
• Follow Aircraft Maintenance Manual and Engine Shop Manual procedures during maintenance.
• Perform supplementary shop and housekeeping duties as required.
• Build internal and external relationships through effective communication.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in repair of commercial aircraft engines preferred.
• Holder of a valid Federal Aviation Administration Airframe & Powerplant license preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly motivated self-starter with creative troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent judgment, professional maturity, and social skills.

Additional Information

• This is an onsite position with typical hours of 2:00pm – 10:30pm.
