Overview

Aggreko is seeking a Technician 1 for Power in Dallas, TX, focusing on maintaining and repairing power generators and HVAC equipment. The role is on-site and supports various customer needs, ensuring reliable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations and handle the repairs.
• Set up and operate equipment on customer sites, either independently or with other technicians.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
• Ability to read and understand schematics.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card based on customer requirements.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.
