Overview

Trystar is a leading company in power solutions, seeking motivated individuals for the role of Production Assembler. This position is crucial for achieving strategic objectives and is part of a team that values safety, integrity, and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products using hand and power tools to position, align, and fasten parts and units into assemblies.
• Install wire labels and device tags and work with different styles.
• Review and understand job orders and interact with Epicor by properly badging in and out of active job orders.
• Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Check completed units to ensure they meet specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read instructions, safely operate machines and visually inspect components.
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Accuracy and timeliness in completion of work assignments is a must.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis.
• Must be able to read, write and comprehend plant directives written in English.
• Limited understanding of PLC, VFD and Circuit Breakers.
• Understand and know the differences between NEMA ratings of enclosures.
• Knowledgeable of identifying wire gauges, colors and understanding ampacities.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to effectively use a tape-measure and perform simple mathematics.
• Basic understanding of schematics, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly.
• Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
• Must adhere to all PPE requirements to perform the job safely.
• Ability to work in a team environment while collaborating, troubleshooting and problem solving.
