Overview

R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for Diesel Mechanics at their Hatfield, PA Service Center. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for day-to-day equipment maintenance on fleet equipment, including preventative maintenance and repairs to Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day equipment maintenance on fleet equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs on Class 8 trucks.
• Maintain trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, and dollies.
• Perform welding tasks as needed depending on location.

Requirements

• Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.
• Ability to handle major repairs.
• Experience with AC and electrical systems.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Must have own tools.
• 2+ years of Diesel Mechanic experience preferred.
• Experience in preventive maintenance of Cummins and Detroit engines.
• Experience using Cetaris for work orders.
• Experience in trailer PMs and repairs.
