Overview

The Machine Operator 1 position at RTX involves operating various production machines and performing routine operations in a manufacturing environment. RTX is a leading aerospace and defense company, known for its innovation and commitment to solving complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine operations and read process sheets.
• Deburr and clean parts, gage parts, and make minor offset changes with oversight.
• Utilize measuring devices and assess product acceptance based on blueprint specifications.
• Clock labor in Solumina and perform preventative maintenance.
• Document information on check sheets and maintain dimensional data on run charts.
• Complete Daily Walk Around (DWA) and utilize communication logs.
• Keep work area and equipment clean while maintaining quality levels.
• Move about the machine line to operate various manufacturing equipment.
• Transport product and/or equipment weighing up to 10 pounds.
• Adhere to ACE guidelines and perform CORE duties as required.
• Follow all EH & S guidelines, including wearing required personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., G.E.D in the US).
• U.S. citizenship is required.

• This position is onsite and classified as a weekend night shift from Saturday to Monday, 1800-0600.
