Overview

RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defense company, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Tech 1 for the 3rd shift in Middletown, PA. This role involves maintaining machinery and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fluid levels in machinery and document usage.
• Monitor fluid inventory and change filters on machinery as needed.
• Operate forklifts and aerial lifts, including pre-operational inspection.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the work area.
• Maintain proper soap to water ratios in washers using titration kits.
• Prepare waste material containers for shipment per EHS guidelines.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled cleaning of cutting fluid tanks.
• Report defects, damages, and malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment as scheduled.
• Use basic hand tools and work from heights, including ladders.

Requirements

• HS Diploma/GED and minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• General mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or fluid power systems.
• Microsoft Office experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Information

• This is a 3rd shift opportunity: Monday to Friday (10pm-6am).
• Position is onsite in Middletown, PA.
